Ophira was honoured to be selected as a playwright for the Museum of Toronto’s The 52 project, shining a spotlight on women who have changed Toronto in the past and present.

For this project, Ophira had the chance to research and write monologues for:

  • Frances Loring – Sculpture artist and community leader
  • Judith Snow – Independent living advocate and community organizer
  • Cheri DiNovo – United Church of Canada minister, activist and politician

These monologues were performed live as part of Nuit Blanche in 2023, and then filmed and presented as part of a virtual and in person exhibition at the Museum of Toronto.
