As a facilitator, Ophira has partnered with a wide range of organizations internationally to develop training programs, exploratory workshops and courses that meet the needs of the people involved.

Topics include, but aren’t limited to:

  • Disability narratives – tropes, traps and possibilities
  • Building an accessibility framework
  • Accessibility in live performance and process
  • Developing an access rider
  • Building trust at the onboarding stage
  • Creative practice, including writing and comedy
  • Production accessibility

Ophira has developed several courses including a 6 part disability forward sketch comedy course, Covid-19 Stories Filmmaking Project, and a creative writing program with the Wagner Green Centre for Access and Inclusion, along with a Crip Storytelling series with the Centre of Independent Living.
