Ophira co-created and led this national program presented by the National Screen Institute, Women in Film and the Disability Screen Office.

The 2024-2025 edition of the lab was designed for Disabled producers marginalized by gender including transgender women, cisgender women, transgender men, non-binary people and many other gender identities.

The curriculum was designed to explore and interrogate conventional film-making practices while supporting Disabled creatives to develop their own, more accessible processes.

Key learnings from the program are being documented in a case study report, which will be released in 2026.
