Ophira co produced, wrote and performed in this multi-award winning show about a serious place: the hospital. The sketch comedy revue lifts the veil that shrouds the hospital and lets the audience in on all the weird, wacky, and bewildering things that happen inside.

Generally Hospital premiered at the Toronto Fringe festival in July of 2018, before a short run as a Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival Marquee production. The ensemble, featuring Alia Rasul, Devan Islas, Grace Smith, Ophira Calof and Sabrina Friedman, was nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award.

The reviews are in – featuring songs about death, rules for navigating the purge, and finding love in a room full of farts, this show is one not to be missed!

A set of exceptionally funny sketches are artfully brought together… to create a must-see show!

Two performance stills. Left image of Ophira singing with their hand up to the sky. The person next to them in mid arm gestures. Folks in behind as well. Right image of four people facing Ophira gleefully with their hands on their knee. Ophira looks back in glee. Wearing their neck brace and glasses in her power wheelchair.
